As a designer I love order. As such I fully
embrace grids for layout. I discovered a while ago a grid system called the 960GS system for creating
web pages. it can be found at http://960.gs. The nice thing about it is that it works in all the the major browsers such as IE7 and above,
FireFox and
web kit browsers. I do not think IE6 is supported unless you use some hacks but lets face it, IE6 is dead. I am sure the .net
campaign to kill it helped a bit. Microsoft doesn't even support it anymore. The 960 GS is so effective and popular that even major website are using it. such as sony music and Durpal.
I have decided to blog about 960 GS right now because I will be using it for a future project for a class I am taking.
